The Kenyan artist has finally revealed his humble beginnings going back to his former and current life which in the past few weeks has been under scrutiny due to what was deemed controversial by bloggers due to his huge spending escapades

It has now been revealed that the details which were being reported earlier are false Gidi Kocha and someone close to the artists decided to reveal his Identity which claims Gidi is not a wealthy man but a pauper who lives in Kibera Africa’s biggest slum and not Kilimani he also doesn’t drive as alleged and uses the public transport system just like any other Kenyan.
The source also revealed that Gidi dropped out of school after he had fought with his principal and choose and only does music which is funded by well wishers from an international NGO.
